10th LP Gas Growth Summit kicks off in Florida

LP Gas magazine launched its 10th LP Gas Growth Summit Sept. 9-11 at Reunion Resort, outside Orlando, Florida.

The unique networking event, drawing about 80 attendees this year, gathers retail propane decision-makers and propane industry partners for two days of one-on-one business meetings, educational opportunities and other networking events.

LP Gas created the Growth Summit in 2015 to gather propane industry leaders amid changes in the energy environment that showed signs of impacting retail operations. The summit prepares propane retailers to navigate the changes and challenges, take advantage of new opportunities across markets and build lasting partnerships.

“A lot has happened in the propane industry over the past 10 years, and we’re excited that the LP Gas Growth Summit has played an important part in bringing industry members together for key discussions about the industry,” LP Gas Brand Manager Brian Kanaba says. “We can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next 10 years.”

Day 1 of the summit opens with a “Meet the Partners” presentation in which industry partners introduce themselves to the retailers. The first day concludes with an evening cocktail reception and dinner.

Propane retailers and partners then begin the first of two mornings of one-on-one business meetings, followed by an afternoon golf outing and an evening barbecue.

One-on-one meetings continue on the final day of the summit, following a panel discussion of propane retailers moderated by LP Gas Editor-in-Chief Brian Richesson.
