Smith Pumps releases new bypass valve catalog

Smith Pumps released a new catalog featuring its bypass relief valves for LP gas service, available in sizes ranging from 0.5-in. to 2.5-in. FNPT.

These valves are engineered to safeguard pumps and downstream components by relieving excessive pressure while maintaining smooth, continuous operation. The valves are UL-listed for LP gas and CO2 service, with CE (EU) and UKCA (UK) compliance for international safety standards.

According to the company, no periodic maintenance is required, as the valves are designed for long-term reliability and minimal servicing. The valves are adjustable while in service, allowing in-line pressure set point modifications without shutdown.

The valves also feature minimal overpressure discharge, ensuring efficient relief without undue pressure overshoot, and stainless-steel spring construction for superior durability and resistance to corrosion.
