Engines for outdoor power equipment converted to run on propane
Cavagna Group is an Italian manufacturer of gas control products, but it’s also known for a variety of propane-fueled equipment offerings, including lawn mowers, generators, pressure washers (shown here), water pumps and barbecues. Greengear Global Ltd., a new subsidiary of Cavagna, manufactures this outdoor power equipment through its Enerkit technology, which converts engines to run on propane. Enerkit Basic is designed for mono-fuel 2- and 4-stroke engines from 20 cubic centimeters to 450 cubic centimeters. The Enerkit Plus line converts 250-cubic-centimeter to 850-cubic-centimeter four-stroke engines to propane. Cavagna says the new company’s goal is to deal with the manufacturing, marketing and promotion of Greengear products around the world.
